While there are resorts and fine dining options available, there are multiple farmers' markets too and we love to cook! Join us in the days leading up to the ceremony for a few co-op meals.

We welcome our guests to join us on Sunday for our wedding ceremony on the beach, followed by a wonderful meal, and a celebration into the evening at the property.
Prelude
A couple living together on Milwaukee's Lower East Side for five years, finding joy in helping people within our careers, and traveling the world in our spare time to learn and relax. While around MKE we've come to enjoy the local art and restraunt scenes, cooking and baking experiments, and spending time with our dog Rowdy who will also be attending the event.
Destination
Falling somewhere between fishing village and resort town with a 10 mile proximity to the 100-fathom curve, Destin is able to offer fine dining and farmers markets, beautiful white sand beaches and deep green seas, wonderful snorkeling experiences and some of the best saltwater fishing in America.
When joining us for the full weekend, our guests will have the opportunity to take in the amenities of the area. A day excursion out on the Gulf of Mexico, a cruise along Scenic Gulf Drive, or trip to the shops and spas of the Emerald Coast. Whether you unwind by adventuring, exploring, or relaxing we'd love for you to come and build some memories with us while you do so.

Stay
The Venetian Palace is a 5,200 square-foot luxury vacation home tucked into Destin, Florida. Amenities include sleeping space for 38 guests, 10 bathrooms, an indoor and outdoor kitchen, home theater, pool, hot tub and Emerald Coast beaches just 2 blocks away.
Speaking of the beach, remember to bring your beach towel, swimsuit, and sunscreen! While most needs are met by the property, these few are not and the owners frown upon removing the provided towels from the house or smearing them with sunscreen.
In an effort to make this weekend as cherished and meaningful as possible, we're welcoming our attendees to stay with us for the Friday and Saturday nights leading up to our celebration and enjoy a relaxed departure anytime the following Monday. While everyone is welcome to opt for one of Destin's wonderful hotels, resorts and other properties, we would love for you to stay with us. As a comparison, many hotels in the area are more than $150 a night - we're offering a stay in a beautiful vacation home for $150 total, per person, for your 3-night stay.
Dates
Friday, October 13th, 2017 - Monday, October 16th, 2017
While the wedding ceremony is on Sunday, October 15th, 2017, you are welcome to arrive as early as the Friday night prior to the event. We recommend departing the following Monday and our flight estimates below use this range, but if you let us know before hand, we can arrange for you to stay as late as Tuesday morning.

For all our attendees who plan to commute by car here are some distance and drive time estimates for your trip. Your results may vary with road conditions but for most it amounts to a two day drive so plan accordingly. Our accomodations provide parking space for six vehicles so please let us know if you plan to drive and would like to stay with us for the weekend.
